1: What is your name?Luke Gallagher. I tell people im named after Luke Skywalker, but really it was after a cowboy from How the West was Won
2: What country do you live in? (you can get more specific then that if you’d like) Currently in Wellington, New Zealand, though I did live in Canada for three years
3: What other mmo’s have you or are currently playing? Just SWG, signed up to the forums late December 2000, and been there ever since, played since the launch, I still log in most days to see how my guild is doing and chat with friends.
4: What feature are you most excited for in SW:TOR? The fact that is Star Wars is the most exciting for me. Community is also right up there for me, good people make these games great and I am really looking forward to having some new Star Wars adventures with friends. The chance to have story as a major focus is up there, as well as the ability to once again explore the galaxy.
5: Are there any features that you aren’t too excited for? Its hard to say yet, in all honesty I am interested in this game, but not blown away yet. Some people may find that strange. With what we know about the game I can not say there is anything right now that does not appeal to me, but we are still a long way from release, and time will only tell.
6: What character class do you believe will be the first one you try out? Like many Jedi will be my first stop. Partly because I run a Jedi RP guild,. So kind of have to. I will get around to rolling one of each class., secretly looking forward to rolling a Sith aswell
7: What do you think one of the remaining unknown classes will be? For Sith im going with a Slaver class, and Imperial Commando, and Republic Engineer or Noble , no point listing Jedi. I tried to figure out who was more heroic from star wars and try and label them as a specific class but its harder then it sounds.
8: What kind of computer are you running? Compaq Dual Core laptop, enough to get me by, and have money set aside for a new rig once we get closer to release.
9: Do you own any consoles? Only a Xbox 360
10: What are some of your other favorite games? I love the Halo series, Grand Theft Auto, been enjoying Kane and Lynch recently, and looking forward to finally getting around to playing my new copy of Wolfenstein
11: What’s your most memorable moment in the Star Wars saga? The cantina scene in a New Hope, and anything with Han Solo in it movie wise, they gave him all the best lines. Thrawn killed at the end of The Last Command, and starting my own characters story in Star Wars Galaxies
12: Anything else interesting about yourself you’d like to share with the community? I like long walks on the beach, candle light dinners.... I lived in Canada for three years and had an awesome experience over there, was back there recently for a month vacation. I work as a Gamma Tech, its an interesting and potentially deadly job. Pearl Jam is my favourite band, going to see them live in November.
13: Is there anyone you would like to say ‘hi’ to from the forums and/or in real life? Just all those great people who are helping shape TOR up to be a great experience , the good people, who I am really looking forward to playing with!
14: Coke/Pepsi or other? I like both, but tend to buy Coke more as it seems easier to find around here
